Abstract
The field of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile is being impacted by accelerated urbanization process: a process of elite and other precarious. Both were developed within an agricultural world, modernized and exclusive in relation to farming. Consistent with this dynamic smaller cities are increasing their population. Agricultural soils decreased progressively.
